An award-winning photographer and director, he is recognized for creating visually striking imagery defined by a fresh perspective, bold composition, and confident energy. His work seamlessly blends storytelling with design, resulting in images that feel both refined and dynamic. Whether photographing interiors, products, or lifestyle-driven campaigns, he approaches every project as a true collaborator—working closely with creative teams to craft imagery that is engaging, intentional, and enduring.
His creative foundation began with a deep interest in drafting and architecture, disciplines that shaped his understanding of structure, form, and spatial relationships. This early passion quickly evolved into an obsession with photography after his father gifted him two Nikkormat cameras. As a teenager, he spent countless hours driving the back roads of Georgia and Tennessee, photographing landscapes and portraits while developing a strong visual instinct and an appreciation for natural light, place, and atmosphere. These formative years laid the groundwork for a career rooted in observation, patience, and thoughtful composition.
While still in high school, he joined the Atlanta Advertising Photographers of America, gaining early exposure to the professional photography world. By the age of 17, he was assisting several established photographers throughout Atlanta, learning the demands of commercial production from the ground up. He later attended art school in Atlanta, earning a BFA in Photographic Imaging, where he refined his technical skills and developed a clear creative voice. Graduating with Best of Show honors.
Following graduation, he spent six years producing product and lifestyle photography for multiple catalogs. This period proved instrumental in shaping his approach to photography—teaching him how to build efficient, scalable productions while maintaining a high standard of visual consistency. The discipline, organization, and problem-solving skills developed during this time continue to influence his workflow today, allowing him to deliver clean, polished imagery across productions of any size.
Bold, memorable images are at the core of his work. His architectural background is evident throughout his portfolio, from strong graphic lines and balanced compositions to carefully considered color stories that unify each project. Comfortable working across all scales of production, he brings the same level of attention and care to intimate shoots as he does to large, multi-day campaigns, ensuring every client’s vision is executed with clarity and impact.
With 25 years of professional experience, he has been fortunate to collaborate with an extensive range of talented creative directors, art directors, editors, producers, and brands. These collaborations continue to fuel his passion for image-making and reinforce his belief in the power of teamwork to elevate creative work.
He is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, where he lives with his wife and son.
