Tim is an award winning photographer and director who is known for capturing eye-catching images with a fresh perspective and bold energy. Whether shooting interiors or home decor, he collaborates thoughtfully on every project resulting in exceptionally engaging imagery.
Journey
My journey began with a love of drafting & architecture, which transformed to a love of photography quickly there after. My father gave me his two Nikkormat bodies and a couple lenses. I started skipping school on occasion to drive the back roads of Georgia and Tennessee to shoot landscapes and portraits. It became my obsession.
In high school I joined the Atlanta Advertising Photographers of America. Quickly there after, at age17, I was assisting for several photographers around Atlanta. I attending art school in Atlanta and graduated with a BFA in Photographic Imaging. After college, I started shooting product & lifestyle photography for several spa catalogs. During the 6 years I was shooting for these catalogs I learned so much about advertising photography. I use every bit of that knowledge today to provide my clients with consistently clean photography.
Bold memorable images is what I strive for in each of my projects. My love for architecture shows in my imagery, from the graphic lines to the color story that weaves throughout.
I have been very lucky to collaborate with so many talented creative directors, art directors, editors & producers on my journey.
Currently, I live in Atlanta GA.
